My early days in Toastmasters, made me realize to stay clear of topics in the genre of Politics, Religion & Sex.

However, my past 5 days in Manitoba, being bound in by a winter weather pattern, then having to drive in it for 6 hours, allowed me to watch this remarkable speaker, Ms. Danielle Smith, newly appointed Leader of the Wild Rose Alliance Party of Alberta.

The actual interview was 1-on-1 with Peter Van Dusen of CPAC, Canada’s parliamentary channel.

One way of becoming a better speaker is watching others and superimposing ourselves into those positions to see if we can aspire to such a style.
